A “highly critical” flaw in MSN Messenger could allow hackers to execute code by getting users to accept an invitation to a video chat, reports ZDNet blogger Ryan Naraine.
Windows Live Messenger 8.1, the latest version, is not affected. Microsoft is investigating the flaw, according to vnunet.com, but for now is advising users to update to 8.1Highly Critical’ Vulnerability Found in MSN Messenger
